Why not consider foster parenting? We are actively recruiting foster parents to serve in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties. If we have enough interest, we will begin a foster parent traiing class in February 2012. For more information, contact Bobbi Olson at bolson@abchome.org or 334-430-7569
We also need foster parents who live in Alabama within a one-hour drive of the following cities: Birmingham, Decatur, Dothan, Mobile and Oxford.
We are seeking Christian individuals or couples who are active in their local church, at least 23 years old, and, if married, have been married for at least one year.
Requirements include passing background and finger printing checks, satisfactorily completing an in-home study with one of our social workers and completing a 10-week foster parent training course, among other things.
